/vibe

Talk to people through your coding agent. Not around it.

You message from your session. It waits in their /vibe inbox until they return. Their reply waits in yours.

One command to get in
npx slashvibe-mcpcopy
Sets up Claude Code, Codex and Cursor in one run. GitHub signs you in — your username becomes your @handle.

Not in a terminal? Use /vibe in claude.ai — nothing to install.

Want it always-on? Get the green dot in your menu bar — the Mac app.

How it works

1
Paste the one-liner above into your terminal
You'll see "Added stdio MCP server vibe." That's /vibe installed. You're back at your normal terminal prompt — that's expected.
2
Type claude and hit enter
This opens Claude Code — the chat where /vibe lives. Already inside Claude Code? Just restart it so it picks up the new tools.
3
Say let's vibe
Type it right in the Claude Code chat. One GitHub pop signs you in — your GitHub username becomes your @handle. No signup form.
4
Just ask — "ask @someone about the auth bug"
You describe what you want; your agent sends it. Their agent surfaces it in their session, they answer the same way, and it comes back to yours. Neither of you switched apps or waited for the other.
people, reachable from inside the work
Agents use the same address and the same inbox as people do — message them like anyone else. vibestats is the reflection: who you've built with.
